Happy Saturday beauties! This is the final boxy charm review for 2019. The theme for December is “whimsy” and it fits perfectly for the month. I know when we all think about the holidays some of us think of the fun and playful thoughts. Almost like the the dance of the sugar plum fairies in The Nutcracker ballet. While other probably think of a snowy winter day. Nonetheless, we’ve all had whimsical thoughts at some point.
Now on to the contents of the box. Also be sure to check out my last Boxy Charm review for November.
Whimsical Products
First up we have the Storybook Cosmetics | Fairytales: Little Red Riding Hood eyeshadow palette. Inspired by the classic tale, this mini palette was created exclusively for Boxy Charm. Combined with shades of red and metallics, you’ll be able to create a stunning happily ever after look. This palette has a really pretty red shade that it’s perfect for the holidays and for Valentines. Overall it’s a cute palette and I can see myself using the brown shades a lot.
Secondly,I received another Elemis product. This pro collagen rose facial oil gives the skin a luminous glow when paired with your favorite moisturizer. I use it particularly in the morning to give my skin that glow effect when I don’t wear makeup. Plus it also keeps my skin hydrated on those days my skin feels extra dry.
Third, is the Ciaté | Marbled Light Illuminating blusher. This blusher is a pretty pink marbled shade with an illuminator swirled throughout. After swatching it, I only get a slight amount of pigmentation, but I’m sure once applied to the cheeks I’ll see a subtle pink. I would use this blush when trying to achieve a more natural look.
The fourth product is a condition lip polish by Serphine Botanicals. With this lip conditioner a blend of chamomile, wisteria and honeysuckle help to keep lips exfoliated and protected. This is definitely a good product for the upcoming winter months. Especially for my lips to feel nice and conditioned before applying my lip mask at night.
Finally, I received another brow product this month, Brow Bar | Brow Makeover kit. It contains two brow shades, a brightening brow lift, sculpting mascara gel, an angled brush and a flat brow brush. Not sure if I’ll like this product as much as my brow pencil from Benefit, but I’ll give it a try. The brow shade matches perfectly to my dark brown hair and if I want a more sculpted brow, it gives me that look.
That’s it beauties. I hope you’ve enjoyed my boxy charm reviews for the year. If you would like to start your subscription click here to view my referral link.
