Hello beauties, I think it’s time for some skincare TLC for all my normal to dry beauties. Now I don’t know about you all but my skin is extra picky when it comes to the winter months. It’s like no matter what I do, it’s always thirsting for some hydration and moisture. I’ve recently been reading about different ingredients that’s that can help with dry skin.
So of course, I’ve updated my skincare routine to help my skin to be more hydrated and moisturized throughout the winter. After reading a post from Huda Beauty about how peach is good for skin during the dyer season. I set off to try some products withers ingredients.
Cleanser
Peach & Lily: Power Calm Hydrating Gel-Cleanser $28
A new addition to my skincare routine, cleanses down to the pores without stripping or causing irritation. Formulated with chamomile and Camilla extracts to help soothe the skin as it cleanses. Perfect for all skin types and with a pH balance of 5.5 to keep the skins natural barrier intact. Oh and it’s one of the peach products mentioned in the post.
Juice Beauty: Green Apple Brightening Gel Cleanser $28
Great cleanser for brightening hyperpigmentation, dark spots and uneven skin tones. Along with brightening this cleanser exfoliates and and deeply cleanses with coconut. Tip: If you have sensitive or rosacea skin this product will cause irritation because of the alpha/beta fruit acids.
Toner
Mario Badescu: Alpha Grapefruit Cleansing Lotion $15
My first time trying any cleansers by Mario Badescu and I must say I’m impressed. At first I thought this toner would have stinging sensation but it didn’t. The aloe and seaweed extracts help to soothe the skin which makes it great for sensitive, dull and dry skin. Oh and I can’t forget the exfoliating properties of citrus extracts. Citrus breaks down pore congestion naturally and dead skin cells for a heathy glow.
Fresh Beauty: Rose Deep Hydration Toner $45
My all time favorite toner. It’s perfect to use morning and night for quick hydration boost after cleansing. With real rose petals and hyaluronic acid to help minimize pores and increase hydration, this is the perfect everyday toner. This toner also won the best in beauty award, so you know it has to be good.
Serum
Teami: Vit-C Tea Infused Serum $45
Vitamin C is something I don’t get much of during the winter months, but that’s where this serum comes in. Combined with hisbiscus flower and hyaluronic acid, I know my skin will stay moisturized throughout the day.
Elemis: Pro-Collagen Rose Facial Oil $79
Another product I recieved from Boxy Charm, this is the perfect pair for my Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. After cleansing and toning my skin tends to look a little dull on some days, but after applying a few drops of this serum my glow returns.
Moisturizer
Peach & Lily: Lazy Day All-in-One Moisture Pads $39
This has to be the best product that I’ve found. It’s literally an all in one pad that can be used on days when your in a rush or a lazy day. Typically I use the pads in the morning while getting ready. It’s easy to use and I can get two steps done in all in one.
Elemis: Pro-Collagen Marine Cream $89
Moisturizing cream that frims, smoothes and hydrates. This day-cream is proven to reduce the appearance wrinkles in 14 days. I’ve been using this cream since I recieved it in a past Boxy Charm. It is a little pricey but a little goes a long way with this product.
Eye Cream
Drunk Elephant: C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream $80
A restorative eye cream to help fight fine lines and wrinkles. With five forms of vitamin C, eight peptides and cucumber extract visibly brighten and shows signs of former skin. Place this product in the fridge and use morning and night for a cooling and soothing treatment.
