Hello beauties! So if your like me during this quarantine you’ve been keeping up with your skincare routine or either making adjustments. My skin has been going through different stages. One day it’s glowy and smooth, but the next day I will have a new friend on my cheek or forehead. Usually the breakouts are from stress or my hormones but either way I’m able to get rid of them eventually. So I’m going to share with you what I’ve been using to keep my skin healthy and glowing.
Make sure you check out my other skincare post here and here.
First up let’s start with my cleansers. I’ve been going back and forth between my Peach & Lily and the Cetaphil cleanser. Which I know I said I wouldnt be using anymore but the formula of this one is different than the previous cetaphil cleanser I used. Both of these cleanser are gentle enough to remove dirt without leaving my skin dry and patchy.
After cleansing I follow up with a toner. My go to toner is the Mario Badescu grapefruit one. Sometimes I’ll switch it up about once every two weeks and use the Peach & Lily toner by pressing it into my skin.
Onto my moisturizer, I’ve been using the olehenriksen vitamin C gel moisturizer. It’s one of the items I got in my May beauty haul. This moisturizer is light enough for me to keep using during the summer and I know it’ll keep me hydrated throughout the day. Whereas my MILK makeup moisturizer is best for those extra dry days and the winter. Since it’s more on the thicker side in consistency.
As for eye creams I’ve also been using olehenriksen. It’s the accompanying vitamin C brightening cream. So far it’s a really nice cream that keeps the eye area hydrated but it’s not to heavy, which is what I like in an eye cream.
Now for this pesky breakouts and my dry skin days, I usually add a treatment cream and masks into my routine. I’ve been using the Clinique acne solutions since 2016 and it’s works for getting my breakouts. Although sometimes it leaves a white residue after it dries, I may try out the individual breakout stickers. To add a little extra moisture into my skin, I’ve been using the Tatcha dewy mask or the Farmacy Beauty honey potion mask. Both work great for adding extra moisture. Demon my mood I’ll go for the sheet mask or the honey potion.
That’s it for my updated skincare routine. If you’d like to know what I use at night let me know in the comments. Be sure to subscribe to receive new posts updates.
